aint no sunshine when she's gone

For Sale: Demon child who doesn't go to sleep until 11pm or later. Sleeps for approximately 45 minutes (just so you're nice and soundly sleeping) and then wakes up and cries for and unlimited amount of time until her father (wonderful, kind man that he is) comes and puts her back to sleep.

Missing: My angel baby that used to fall asleep within 5 minutes of being rocked and slept for 7+ hours. If you have any information, please send it to the tired woman behind the computer.

I know this isn't comforting but 3 mo. is when I started to have problems with Reagan's sleeping as well. 3 mo. is about the time when they start getting on a routine schedule of morning nap, afternoon nap, cat nap in the evening and early to bed. Before this time (at least I found, and I'm NO EXPERT, that Reagan would sleep wherever, whenever. I could take her anywhere and do whatever I wanted. Then about three months hit and we crashed! I had to be home a lot more and stick to her schedule pretty rigidly. When Reagan was tiny I seriously thought she was a PERFECT baby, she was like you describe an angel, but then she grew and I realized she is just like every other baby: crazy!!!

I got nothing, I'm so not the person to help you with baby sleeping problems.

Join the crowd, sister! My little stinker did the same thing at the 3 month mark. I've read that 3 months is when they hit a big growth spurt which may explain the more frequent waking (and mine started being a very fussy eater when I nursed him too). He's getting better now (almost 4 months old) so maybe it will pass soon?!?! My advice: stock up on the diet coke! :)
