On this greatest and grateful of weeks, I'd like to express my thankfulness for good music. (btw, am I seriously being a mormon mommy blogger, professing my love of Mindy Gledhill? ugh....but she's good!)

I do not watch Glee (I have very skewed standards when it comes to what is and is not appropriate for me to watch on TV). However, I do visit a particularly annoying blog that has an automatic playlist. This is the first song that comes on, and no matter how hard I try I end up listening to the whole thing....EVERY time. 100 points if you know what blog I'm talking about without clicking the link.

Last weekend, we took the family down to Mississippi, to visit Ben and Becky (click this link...they want advice), and to New Orleans for a wedding.  While we walked around we saw amazing art, and some very entertaining musicians.  I didn't think to take video of the first group (they were my favorite) but here's a picture.

If it wasn't for the fact that I actually DO (occasionally) have to get up from my computer, I wouldn't even need an ipod.  Who needs anything but pandora.com?

Chick rock holds a special place in my heart (what?  you couldn't tell?).  This week was fight on who to feature.  In then end I decided to highlight The Eames Era (sorry about the bad audio quality...I couldn't find one that wasn't completely awful)
